Hello Leanne !
Hope i am typing in the right place , have difficulty remembering how to do this .
Great to see you are having a wonderful pilgrimage , and so many happy experiences , such as the Gregorian Chant you listed on Day 25 .
Nice that you had such care from Mr.Wolf , for your sore shin (?) .
You will be particularly pleased to learn Fr.Chris gave us a 'sermon' on St. Aloysius , at Masses this weekend ! Poor old St. John the Baptist , whose Nativity we were actually celebrating , scored about two sentences , then Fr.Chris launched , quite unexpectedly , into a resume of the life of St.Aloysius !
Apparently , Fr. Chris is hoping we will do something special about St. Aloysius in the Year 2000 , if i remember the 'sermon' right ! ;O) ! Maybe a wooden statue , or such ?
It is lovely to read your lively comments , and see your photos of your pilgrimage ! Congratulations !
I love the 'purple' pilgrimage doll you have gained , bravo !
On July 4th i am giving a presentation to our combined prayer group on St. Elizabeth of Portugal , so as i research her amazing life , it is easy to remember that you are currently not that far away from where she also travelled ( on a mule , though , she was after all , Queen of Portugal !) . She was born into the Royal family of Aragon , Spain . Her Feast Day is July 4th .
Best Wishes , Leanne ,
